When it's cold outside, we love to go with riding boots and skinny jeans.

Obviously, the fashion world is worried about global freezing when cables look like they could hold up a bridge and gauges are thick as down. But this glorious needlework -- less slouchy and curl-up-able than last fall's -- has not been crafted solely for coziness. The message being sent (via cable) is one of luxury.

This season, much of the guy’s denim
available has streamlined legs. Cuts such as
skinny, slim straight, slim boot and classic straight
are most popular. Popular washes include: Dark Rinse
where fabric softener and dark dyes are added,
and Vintage where denim has been soften, shrunk and faded to a medium
or light color. Khakis and chinos are also popular with
a flat front and slimmer fit. Most have the nicking
and grinding details around the trim around the
trim for that lived-in vibe.
Back to school button downs are fitted
with mini checks, western plaids or vertical
stripes. Crew necks, henley’s and polo’s are also
narrow though the body. Horizontal stripes of all
widths are present on V-neck tees.
This season brings out collegiate
inspired graphics. Classic super heros, cartoon
characters and brand logos can be found everywhere.
As colder weather approaches,
guys will grab a sweatshirt. Fall jackets include traditional
denim, some with sweatshirt hoods, fleece pullovers, and leather or “leather” in both moto and
bomber styles. For winter, puffy down will keep
you warm. Look for military details and prep
school applique.
